Foley is at it again - always a trendsetter, making moves, and now he wants to be a portable beverage guy.
So we thought we'd discuss beverages that you carry with you - and if it makes you trashy or classy. Here's
Is this Beverage Trashy or Clean Livin' ?

Water
Water - the essence of life.
While I don't ever recall drinking glasses of water as a kid, apparently it's pretty important to drink a lot of ounces each day - even as an adult.
So is it classy? It depends...
Are you carting around a Kirkland Signature disposable bottle that's been crumpled by your commute on the train? Not so classy. Not trashy, but you deserve the best, so keep that bottle looking nice.
Are you carrying around a reusable Hydroflask with chilled cubes that lasts 12 - 14 hours? We say that's clean livin'. Not to mention the CHEAPEST way to consume water out there.
Carbonated Water
Largely, we vote carbonated water of any kind as classy.
We love a San Pellegrino, a LaCroix, Liquid Death, Spindrift, Bubly, Waterloo, we could go on...
But what you NEED to confirm here is that it's actually water. You could think you're clean livin' by drinking a Sparkling San Pellegrino, but it's actually a Sparkling Water that contains minerals and sometimes sugar.
Minerals are supposedly good for you, but we think that's how they get ya. Is it really better than drinking out of a stream?
Keep soda water and the like for mixing cocktails.
Soda
In a can - trashy. (See Kippy's comments in our most recent episode.)
In a bottle - acceptable.
In a disposable cup from the Wawa? Maybe not clean livin', but that is the best way to consume soda pop, so have AT IT. (Is it garbage if you call it "pop"?)
Coffee
Iced Coffee - always classy. Just check the group leaving Spin Class.
Or ask Ian Fidance.
Warm Coffee - usually classy. Unless they mess up the spelling of your name on the cup.
However, all of these combinations should have a lid, if you're on the go. If not, you're just asking to stain your AYG tee.
Around the house - you should be serving all coffee in Tuddy's Vacation Mug.
Juice
When youse was kids, we thought juice was the healthiest thing you could drink. So it's gotta be clean livin', right?
Well - sometimes. Apparently juice is all sugar.
But, we love a specialty juice, a fresh juice, a green juice, but other juices should be reserved for children.
Or when you have gout.
Any juice cocktail should be reserved for well, cocktails.
Alcohol
If you're traveling with alcohol, that's certainly trashy. We wish that weren't the case, but the only exceptions are places like the Las Vegas Strip.
So, disguise your Mike's Hard in a water bottle, at least.
Energy Drinks
We don't know why, but carrying around most energy drinks is trashy.
Maybe it's the aluminum can.
Maybe it's all the bros with permanent "Monster Energy" tattoos.
Red Bull is the exception to the rule - maybe because the can is so skinny? Flavored Red Bull does seem trashy, tho. Sugar Free - always classy.
Smoothies
10/10 clean livin'.
Try banana strawberry. Or chocolate peanut butter. Or mixed berry.
But noting if it's from Erewhon, you will look like a fool. Not trashy, but a fool.
Boba
Nothing like drinking tapioca! This one certainly isn't trashy, but you will look a lot like a hip, young women. Keep that in mind.
And did you know it usually has milk? Watch your tummy, you lactose-intolerant folks.
Gatorade
We'll call it classy - hydration of all types is always in style.
Do you play sports or are you just really sweaty? If neither, maybe you should just drink water.
But we agree you deserve a little treat and Gatorade is always a friend. (S/o Purple flavor.)
Plus nothing like that wide-mouth bottle...
Iced Tea
Classy. Sweet or Unsweetened.
Like coffee's less-powerful cousin, she serves a great purpose. Keep ya caffeinated and cool. (Double meaning.)
Also - one of the easiest things to make at home and pretend you bought it out. Talk about clean living!
