Best Airport Breakfasts in the USA

Best Airport Breakfasts in the USA

We will die on the hill that AIRPORT BREAKFAST IS DANG CLASSY!

We know youse agree with us... so for the next 24 hours, Tuddy is discounting her Airport Breakfast Shirt so you can show your Garbage pride. Get it before the sale ends!

In honor of the Airport Breakfast, we wanted to highlight some of the top restaurants (in our opinion) to grab a bite before a flight here in the US.  Here's

Best Airport Breakfasts in the USA

Palm Bar & Grille | JFK

The boys' favorite spot and the one that started it all!

The Palm brand has been around since 1926 and is so much more than a restaurant... Happy 100th Birthday! Per their website, "What began as a restaurant became a second home to a vibrant cast of artists and writers, tycoons and civic leaders, screen stars and working families." The Lore!

While they have a good handful of locations across the US - who wants to deal with things like reservations and lines and WAITING - when you can roll up before you flight and have the same experience?

Primanti Bros | PIT

If you're not familiar with Primanti's, it's sliced meat of your choice, coleslaw, and french fries all on a white bread sandwich, served in a neat, lined, aluminum foil wrap.  We know - hardcore white people food - but it has a rich history.

The original Primanti restaurant started as a street cart in the Strip District during the Great Depression (1933!).  The idea was the blue collar workers would get off the job at like 4/5/6 AM and be STARVING...

So Mr. Primanti gave em a full meal they could carry in one hand.  Delicious, (kinda) nutritious, and highly portable.  Also - cuz it was so early in the morning, many included a fried egg in the mix.

Undisputedly breakfast - brunch or you can get it most anytime of day, and wash it down with a Yuengling - howyerdoin!

Blue Star Donuts | PDR

We've never met a donut we didn't like... and Blue Star Donuts is NO exception!  Not only is this one of the fastest-served breakfast options that exists at the airport, but it's right out front of the gate.

They serve flavors such as Blueberry Bourbon Basil, Lemon & Lime Curd, and Buttermilk Old-Fashioned, to name a few - and they have killer coffee.

Even if this is a bit FROOFY for ya - it'll likely make your wife happy.  And they open most days at 4 AM - so really, this could be a super late night snack breakfast, too.

Federal Donuts & Chicken | PHL

A light little donut not enough for you? Then check out Federal Donuts & Chicken in the Philly Airport!

We honestly think people sleep on chicken for breakfast - and it's a dirty, rotten, scandal shame.

This is one of the locations by James Beard-winning chef Michael Solomonov’s Philly-based brand - located at the Terminal B/C connector.

So - a classy Chick-Fil-A with DONUTS? Yeah - I'm gonna make a stop.

One Flew South | ATL

James Beard winner AGAIN for their bar menu, this is a modern, Japanese restaurant.

They serve everything from sushi to pork belly and poke tacos - as well as fusion items like collard green ramen and mushroom gnocchi.

They open most days at 7 am - so stop by for some brekky and cocktails next you're in Atlanta.

We could be here all day...

There really is no end to awesome restaurants inside of Airports... What are some of your favorites at your local airport?

Let us know!

And grab your AIRPORT BREAKFAST shirt while still on discount!
